The Equinox arrives for 2024 with only small changes. There are two new exterior color options available. Chevrolet has also expanded the Driver Confidence II suite with more driver assists and now makes it available starting with the base trim and includes it with the top trim.
All Equinox models available through our dealership serving New Castle Hermitage Sharon Ellwood City have a turbocharged 1.5L three-cylinder engine that outputs 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. That engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and while front-wheel drive is standard, we offer all-wheel drive as an option with all trim levels.
The base infotainment suite includes a 7-inch touch screen, a rearview camera, wireless Android and Apple device integration and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The Safety & Infotainment group adds an 8-inch touch screen and a high-definition camera. It’s optional with the LT and RS and included with the Premier. Standard driver assists include automatic headlamp and high-beam control, frontal collision alert with intervention and lane departure alert with intervention. The Driver Confidence II suite is optional and adds rear parking sensors, blind-spot alert and rear cross-traffic alert. Front and rear parking sensors are also optional with the LT trim level and included with the RS and Premier. The Premier also offers a surround-view camera, an automated parking system, integrated navigation and adaptive cruise control.
Preston GM Superstore includes proximity keyless entry and push-button start with every new Chevrolet Equinox in New Castle. Remote start is optional with the LT trim level through the Confidence & Convenience group. That package is included with the RS and Premier. A 120-volt outlet is optional with the LT trim level through the Safety & Infotainment group, and that package is optional with the RS and Premier as well.
The LS is designed to be as affordable as possible. But the price difference between the four trims is not great, and the upper trims add many popular amenities and technologies that you may want too.
Riptide Blue – Summit White – Lakeshore Blue – Radiant Red Tintcoat – Mosaic Black Metallic – Sterling Gray Metallic – Iridescent Pearl Tricoat – Harvest Bronze Metallic. There are eight exterior color options offered for the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox. Riptide Blue and Lakeshore Blue are the new options added this year. Those and most of the other colors listed are included in the MSRP. Iridescent Pearl Tricoat and Radiant Red Tintcoat are the exceptions. Those are premium colors that require a small additional fee.
